Gohan and Videl - A Romantic Day
Videl POV
"Hey Videl, glad you could come" Gohan greeted.
"Hey Gohan, so where are we going?" I asked.
"Well it's a surprise, and you have to wear a blindfold," Gohan said with a small smile. I reluctantly agreed. "Okay now make sure you hold my hand all the way," Gohan told me. I grabbed his hand and then we were flying.
"Gohan you didn't tell me we were going to fly!" I shouted at him.
"Ok if you don't like flying I'll carry you" he said. Swinging me up into his arms. I thought I was heavy but it didn't phase Gohan if anything he went faster. I could hear crackling electricity,
"Gohan what have you done?" I asked.
"I thought we would be faster if I was a super saiyan," Gohan explained.
"Ok then just don't drop me," as soon as I said this I felt myself falling, "Gohan!" I screamed then I suddenly stopped. "Why did you do that?" I asked.
"To show you that you are safe with me, I will catch you if you ever do fall." Gohan replied.
We kept flying for about 2 minutes, when we stopped all I could hear was crashing water, "Why have we stopped?" I asked.
"We're here." Gohan said, slowly he removed the blindfold. Unveiling a sparkling crystal blue waterfall and a lake. It was a perfect slice of nature, no building anywhere, just the lake, the waterfall and a single tree. "Well shall we sit down," Gohan gestured to the tree. We walked to the tree hand in hand
Gohan sat down, I sat next to him when he pulled me closer, he wrapped his strong arms around me. We just stayed there for what seemed like eternity. We had been dating for about a year now and days like this were the best. Just the two of us. "Feeling hungry?" Gohan asked.
"Yeah a bit," I replied. Gohan let me go and walked behind the waterfall, when he emerged again he had a picnic basket. It was starting to get dark so Gohan pulled out the candles. "You thought of everything, didn't you?" I said.
"Well of course, I want this to be perfect for both of us" Gohan said with a massive smile. He was brilliant. We sat down and eat the picnic. As we reached the bottom of the basket, there was a champagne bottle and 2 glasses. Just as I spotted them. Gohan up on one knee and pulled a ring from his clothes. "Videl Satan will you do me the honour of becoming my wife" Gohan said. I went silent, "we have known each other for so long now and well in two words you are my true love." Gohan finished
"I-I don't know what to say except…" I was speechless, "yes I will" I managed to say. Gohan took my hand and put the ring on my finger. He then stood up.
"Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" Gohan screamed as he shot his energy beam behind the waterfall. One by one fireworks started appearing from the waterfall.
"It's beautiful." I said.
"Only as beautiful as you are," Gohan said. I smiled.
"Thank you Gohan this day has been perfect." I said as I admired my ring under the fireworks
