Dark clouds rumble from above, threatening to spill, I walk a little faster, pushing myself to walk quicker every minute
The sky gives off a dull gray light, illuminating just enough to see but no more than shapes and the slightest details
I walk through the black streets of London, alone for the fist time that day
The sky directly above me goes momentarily darker than before, I look up curious, there is a black shape about 20 feet in the air, too big to be a bird and to small to be any kind of aircraft
It almost looked human sized...,and shaped
I gasp in shock and a slight fear
The shape descends slowly, becoming clear that it is indeed a human figure, a male I think, he has wings, black as the night with hair to match
A soft breeze crosses my face as the beating of wings matches the rythmatic pattern of air crossing my face
The wing beats are bearing down on me, he is about to land thats when I realize how wet he is, dripping as though it had recently been raining
As his first foot touches the ground, I feel a drop on my head, I look up in time to see the down poor begin, I look at the mysterious being, feeling surprisingly calm
He has large wings spreading almost 3 meters on both sides, they are as I I realize now that his wings are not straight black but a dark blue like the night sky, but deep so so deep, if you look closely you can see the fine feathers lining them, they were beautiful with a few specks of white here and there, then his hair being a proper raven black was slightly longer than neck length but spiked up at the back with a side fringe half covering his left eye
He had a black shirt with slightly torn jeans on, through his drenched shirt you could see finely toned muscles
Then i meet his eyes, I feel like I'm falling through space, passing stars but being in complete darkness at the same time, I felt lost, more than I ever have in my entire life
As we stand in the rain he says one thing, one simple sentence that seams to mean everything
'I beat the rain'
And he did, he beat it, he arrived first, he came before it, the rain followed him
I smile, "thank you" I say
I turn around and walk away, a few meters from where he stood I stop and turn around, he's gone, like he was never there
Thank you dark blue angle
Thank you and goodbye
Goodbye dark blue angle
