Valentine's Day

I wonder what it feels like to work with someone for six years and leave it to fate to bring the two of you together. Well I am going to tell you the story of two people who wound up letting this happen. It also just happened to take place on Valentines day. The first half of this pair is Anthony DiNozzo. He is around six feet tall with short brunet hair, a pair of leafy green eyes, and a sense of humor the size of Manhattan. You might call him one of three things. Annoying, a good person, or the one for you. Ziva David, the other half of this pair, just happened to call him all three. She is closer to five and a half feet with mud-brown eyes, dark curls falling past her shoulders, and a lock on the outside of her heart so nobody could get inside without her permission.
The day started like any other with everybody arriving to work at their usual times. Both Tony and Ziva dreaded this day because of how many times they had their hearts broken. Work still ensued though. It was quite a stormy day outside. While Tony and Ziva were running facial recognition on their latest serial killer, Ziva's computer made ping noise indicating that she had just received an email. All Tony from across the bullpen was Ziva's eyes skim over her email, Ziva get up and get into the elevator and go downstairs. Tony quickly ran over to look at the email and found a picture. It was Ziva's ex- boyfriend, Ray, and a woman who apparently his fiancé because she had a ring on her left ring finger. The two were kissing. Ziva had broken up with Ray, though it was taking time to get over him. Tony quickly ran to the elevator and pushed the button that would take him to the ground floor so he could go outside and look for her.
1 When he got outside, he found her standing in the rain, looking at the ground. He walked up to her and pulled her into a hug. They were now both soaking wet from the rain.
"I'm sorry Ziva. If it makes you feel any better, I never liked.." He didn't get to finish befor she grabbed the collar of his shirt and crushed his lips to hers. He responded. She pulled away and said,
"I'm sorry it took me this long to realize that all I need is this." With that she put her arms around his neck and the kissing continued.
