Kelah's POV

I crashed onto Bill's bed while he was standing at his closet, leafing through his millions of pieces of clothing. Every so often he would turn and grin at me, just checking to see that I was awake or not. I pulled his pillow to my chest, and rested my chin on it. It smelled like him. Cologne and peppermint. Bill had always smelled that way, and I'd always loved it.

I pulled down the hem of my Hey Monday shirt so my stomach wasn't exposed anymore, and closed my eyes. Without looking, I could see the idea sparking in him. He came, and sat on me, like he usually did when I fell asleep in his bed, but this time, I didn't open my eyes. He wanted attention. He was like a little kid. He was poking me, and tickling me. I laughed, but I wouldn't look at him. This was going to drive him insane.

He rolled off of me, and jumped beside me on the bed. I pulled the covers over me head, and the next thing I knew, he was beneath them too, grinning at me in the dark.

"What?" I giggled. "You're awfully persisten today."

"I'm bored." he said, tapping the tip of my nose. "Let's go swimming. We got the pool fixed."

"Bill, it's November. People don't go swimming in November." I yawned.

"We do!" he said, pulling me by the hand to my bedroom. He pulled out my top drawer, and threw a bikini at me. "I like this one. Now hurry up! The pool is waiting!"

I rolled my eyes and looked down to see what he picked. It was kind of funny that it was the most revealing one. I ditched my clothes, and slid into it, making sure to remember to tie all of the strings, unlike last time. Tom made me go jet-skiing with him, and my top came undone when he flipped us over...Tom happened to love the show, but I wasn't quite so enthusiatic.

I grabbed a towel, and stumbled sleepily to the backyard. I stopped when I saw Bill standing in his swim trunks, in the middle of an empty pool. "I thought you said you got it fixed?" I called to him, laughing.

"We did! We painted it! Isn't it cool?"

I put a hand to my forehead, and shook my head. I climbed up the ladder, and jumped into the empty bowl. "Bill, it's snowing!" I said, looking up at the graying sky. "It's cold!" He wrapped his arms around mine.

"Better?"

"Slightly." I blushed.

He could tell I was enjoying this. I could tell by the smirk on his face. It didn't help much that he was shirtless. I just wanted to stare at him, but I couldn't. Best friends didn't think those kinds of things. I couldn't tell him. Maybe the day would come when I could grin, and bear to tell him, but that wasn't today. He was too happy.
