I kind of think that Anna should be more respected for what she' s been through. And I'm tired of people calling her ''stupid''. Anna's not stupid. Anna's as strong, intelligent and wonderful as Elsa.
Comment please:)
For Anna, there was nothing unusual and weird in the way she fell for Hans. He was her prince for so long, her prince for whom she waited for forever.
It all began at exact moment; one moment, which changed everything. That was the day when she got up and saw Elsa's door is closed. It used to be open even at night, welcoming Anna to come in and visit her sister, to hug her and play with her and then, just like that these days of laughter became nothing more than just memories. Anna remembered that day clearly; sitting on the floor and wondering what she did wrong.
This question haunted her for years from then on.
She decided to be patient; everything went a little crazy, but it's going to be alright again, isn't it? She decided to wait for things to go back to normal. For Elsa to go out, smile and play hide-and-seek with her. For making snowmen and sledding and stealing chocolate buns from kitchen. For her parents to stop frowning, start laughing again and never again make whispered conversations behind their bedroom doors. To take her to the picnic and to teach her play chess. For servants to open the windows and for gates to be wide open again.
But time went by and nothing changed. Anna wandered around castle, trying to make friends with servants or talk to her parents but they were all busy and kept their distance. She tried playing on the snow, but it just wasn't fun without Elsa. At least twice a day, she knocked on her sister's room doors, every day, never giving up, driven by desperate hope and thought that Elsa is just as alone as she, Anna, herself.
All this things weren't very entertaining, so she always ended up on the couch and daydreaming. She imagined a boy, a prince for kingdom far away, who would spend time with her. They would have many adventures and he would always be there for her. She imagined castle without doors inside and endless summer and as she was growing up, the prince was growing up too. Her dreams started to change and she closed her eyes just to feel his warm arms around her and his words full of love and admiration towards her.
She wasn't so terribly lonely, as long as he was by her side.
And then her parents died. Just like that, they disappeared like a thick morning fog around the noon. That night she kicked Elsa's door, screaming to her to open, with hot tears streaming down her cheeks and blood boiling in her veins until she collapsed on the cold floor, sobbing and consumed by pain. And the end, her prince was the one who hugged her and wiped her tears away.
She was never angry with Elsa for this years of isolation, mostly just hurt and confused, but after that nigh she decided not to knock ever again.
On her parents funeral she stood on cold snow with her head high and back straight and she didn't shed a single tear. She imagined her prince standing beside her to keep calm, cause she had to keep calm; Elsa wasn't there so Anna had to play true royal just for once.
The first time she saw Hans, she was already in love with the person she though he was. They met once upon a dream, didn't they? Both misfits, misplaced, misunderstood. For forever, for years of cold and isolation, he was saving her, over and over again.
No wonder she fell so hard.
