Remus Lupin was scared. He had no idea why he had even gotten himself into this, he could never be with her. He looked down on the sleeping form next to him and rubbed his hand threw her strawberry blonde hair, she stirred and smirked as it turned bright bubble gum pink and awoke.

"Good morning, Remus." Lupin nodded.

"Same to you, Tonks." She smiled and knelt her head down, messing with the covers.

"I-I..Have something very important to tell you..." Remus looked at her, concerned.

"What's wrong?" Tonks smiled.

"Nothing's wrong, its just..We're going to be parents!"

Remus looked at her for awhile, clearly distressed. Soon, though, he gained his voice and replied, "this is not something I expected but, I suppose we can't do anything about it, then be as joyful as we can." Remus was upset, but only for his unborn's sake, he might be a lycanthrope like his father. But, Remus also, would never terminate a child, so losing the baby on purpose was not an option. Merlin forbid something were to happen, there was nothing they could do, but for now, they could be happy about it...As happy as they could be, at least...Tonks smiled and Remus kissed her and she replied quietly, "I was so scared with how you'd react, I'm so glad your happy though." Remus smiled.

"Of course I am, I always wanted to have a family when I was little, I always pictured my own children," he trailed off and mumbled, "- though that was pretty much crushed when I fully grasped what I was." Tonks looked at him tearfully and laughed, grabbing his chin and pulling his lips to hers.

"This is not something you'll be a git about Remus Lupin, you will do nothing to resent this baby, and if you do, it will be over my dead body." That sent shivers down Remus' spine, but he shrugged it off and smiled. The idea of losing her was completelybarbaric, not when he finally had one moment when he'd thought he could be normal. Anyone that made him feel that way was completely and utterly worth it.
