Wow, it had been a long day, Tails thought as he entered his bedroom. As usual, it was untidy, with mechanical things everywhere, clothes and a ripped poster on his red – painted wall. Tails sat himself on the bed and scowled at his very untidy bedroom. He sighed, got the remote and turned on the TV. He flicked through the channels, looking for a good movie to watch before he went to bed. He scowled again. Damn, why are there always crappy programmes on when I get time to watch the TV? He turned it off, leaned his back onto the soft bed, looked up to the ceiling and daydreamed. Then he thought. I feel fucking horrible. I need a shower.

Tails walked into his bathroom and took his stained T-shirt off, placed it in the wash and did the same with his socks, trousers and boxer shorts. He walked into the shower and turned the metal handle on. A sudden burst of steaming hot water splashed onto him. He squeezed a burst of Orange and Mango shampoo into his palm, he ruffled it through his hair and rinsed. Then we washed his body, turned the shower off, got a towel and walked into his bedroom. He dried himself, got some new clothes on, a pale blue sweatshirt and some jeans, with a pair of Nike trainers and some socks.

Suddenly there was a knock on his door, "Come in!" Tails said.

The door opened, and Tails' eyes widened. Awww, she looks so cute in that dress…

The girl who entered was no other than Cosmo. She was wearing a blue dress, with light blue shoes on her. Tails blushed at her and at the untidy bedroom. He wanted to impress her, and the untidy bedroom wouldn't help. At least he was wearing fresh clothes.

"Hey Tails!" Cosmo said.

"Hey," Tails replied.

"I was just wondering…"

"What is it?"

Cosmo blushed.

"Would you… like to come with me?"

Tails chuckled. "Ok."

Both of them walked outside of the room, and walked down the corridor. It was silent, with only the sound of footsteps heard.

"Cosmo?"

"Yes Tails?"

Her voice is so soft and sweet… I really like her… Maybe I could… Ask her –

"Whats up then?" Cosmo asked.

"Er… nothing, its OK," Tails replied.

They kept walking until they reached the door that went out into the back garden.

When they were out, it was night. The sky was pitch black and there were thousands of stars out. Tails turned red. Is she…?

Tails turned to face Cosmo. Cosmo was looking in Tails' eyes. He could see she turned red as well. This is my chance. Tails got hold of Cosmo's hand. Cosmo gasped a little.

"Don't be scared." Tails spoke softly to her. He closed his eyes and got closer to Cosmo. He kissed her on the lips. It was a slow, soft kiss. As they were kissing, Cosmos hand held tighter onto Tails' hands. Cosmo whimpered and she broke the kiss.

"I love you." Cosmo whispered.

"I love you too." the fox replied.

They kept on holding hands and they walked into the corridor. They both walked into the room and the door slammed shut.

Tails woke up early the next morning in bed with Cosmo. He got up, put a T Shirt and some Tracksuit bottoms on with some trainers. He went round the town for his morning jog. He was thinking of what happened last night. Oh my god, I still can't believe she kissed me! After loving her for months, I now know she loves me! He kept thinking about it and crossed the road – without looking. Suddenly a car zoomed in front of him and hit him square in the hit. Tails hit the solid pavement hard, and his eyes closed.

Everything blacked out.
