A/n: Yes, yes, complain about me not getting any other story, I know. I just need to get other ideas down before I can finish the ones that I have already so yeah. Meh. And I just felt like some kind of angst and this is what resorted from that notion. So yeah. Kind of beware here. And also this is a series of oneshots and what not between lots of things...
01: Chains-Robin, Kid Flash…
The Deep Residing Feeling
01
Chains
A series of oneshots/drabbles around the characters of Teen Titans and Young Justice. This will range from characters to different prompts and different pairings. You can submit anything you want to see, but keep in mind these are oneshots.
The first thing they realized was the fact that something was wrong. They felt cold metallic bindings holding them down and to a wall. There was a hitch of breath and they were sure it came from two people.
One of them was their leader, who had wide eyes behind his masks. His body was shaking and he was turning pale. He seemed not to be able to breathe.
The other was Kid Flash, one of the honorary members that had come with them on this mission. His eyes were wide as well and he was struggling. He wasn't breathing, but he was struggling, panicked.
They heard a growl from Speedy who was trying to get out of the chains, glancing at the two. He seemed to actually understand what was going on, but he wasn't speaking. Their eyes slowly shifted to the door as it opened, and a man with dark skin walked in. Aqualad hissed at the man who did nothing but chuckle.
"Now isn't this a fun deal?" His eyes went to the two boys that were utterly in panic. Another besides him bit his lip, his face hidden for the most part, but then he spoke.
"Father, let them out of the chains. They're going into shock. They are going to die." He hissed and the man looked down at his son, frowning.
"Should you not-"
"I said. Let them go." The tone was dark and harsh, and the boy clenched his fists. "I know why they are scared. And I hate it as much as they do. So, let them go!" He roared and the man blinked before frowning. But he walked forward He carefully slipped the chains off the two and the two instantly went limp.
Aqualad frowned as the two were picked up by the boy. "Why are you doing this...? We were...friends..." He whispered.
"...I'm sorry Garth." And the door slid closed, breaking any traces of light that was left.
The rest of the team wasn't sure what they should do about the situation. All they knew was that something was happening, and whatever it was, it wasn't a good thing.
"Don't...question it." And Speedy didn't feel like explaining it.
A/n: Short, first chapter is short. Meh, it was a little thing I came up with earlier and it will have a part later. For now I kind of wanted to leave you all in the dark on this one.
