Dear Hector,
I know you're gone. That's why I'm putting this in your hand to burn with your body. I'm not even sure if you'll get this at all, it's just a desperate hope.
I couldn't let you go without telling you something. I know I've told you before but I have to say it again.
I love you more than anything. I need you more than a fish needs the sea and a bird needs the air. I miss you like the sun misses the sky at night. Please don't ever doubt that.
No matter what happens, I will always love you. I will always need you. And I will miss you until the day I die and will be with you again. Goodbye, Hector, my love.
