Okay, 2 Gilmore stories in a row! Yipee! I wish I could do this from my phone, but all i can do is login. Anyway, no time for rambling. It's 12:07pm and I have till 12:30 to type this thing. It was either Gilmore Girls or NCIS, aren't you guys lucky:o)
Jess watched Rory as she gazed at him. They stood in front of Luke's Diner in the middle of the empty Stars Hollow streets. Rory stood where the diner began, and he where it ended. He gave her a grin.
"You know," he said over the singing crickets,"everybody says I love you."
This made Rory's cheeks turn a soft shade of pink. She repeated his words with question.
"Everybody says, I love you?"
Jess smiled and brushed the tip of his nose, giving her a slight nod. He covered himself from the winter air. Placing his hands in the pockets of his black trench coat. He moved his hands closer together, while still in pocket, making the jacket cover himself more, and covering his black scarf and white shirt. His dark hair swayed a little in his eyes and out as the wind blew, his dark jeans also blowing against his legs.
"Yeah. Everybody says I love you."
Rory brushed her long somewhat curly hair form her eyes with her fingers. Her light brown coat was buttoned up to her chest, so she didn't fee as much of the cold as he did. Her winter pink turtleneck sweater was visible, and her legs cold in her deep light denim jeans.
"Who says that?" she asked.
Jess smiled at her heart-fully. She could see the playful glint in his eyes as the moonlight highlighted his face.
"Everybody."
Jess stepped closer. He stood halfway of half the diner. Rory obliged by walking halfway of the other half as well.
"Everybody says, 'I love you' or everybody says I love you?"
Jess didn't respond. He walked the rest of the half as Rory did too. They both met, inches away from each other now.
"Everybody," he paused, "says that I love you."
Rory looked passionately into his eyes.
"What do you say?"
Jess inched closer, hands still in pockets. He rested his forehead against hers.
"I say, I love you," he whispered against her lips.
She shivered a little as she felt his warm breath against her lips. Their lips slightly brushed against the others as he spoke.
"What do you say?"
Rory bit her lower lip shyly.
"I say, I love you too."
He kissed her gently on the lips as they began to feel light flakes of snow upon their faces. Rory grabbed his coat in her fist as he moved closer so she could rest her head on his shoulder. They looked up as the snow fell freely.
Lorelai looked out the window above the diner. Luke stood beside her as she sipped her coffee and smiled.
"I told you," she said happily.
She rested her head on his shoulder.
"Smells like snow."
Luke nodded.
"Yeah. It does."
12:33pm and I'm done typing. I added a little LL at the end, just for you. Check out my other stories, and NCIS fans, Check out Feeling and Not Falling Apart.
