Hi! CIAD here! This is my first try at doing a fluffy oneshot. Actually I wrote this for fellow FanFiction writer HopeThePixii for her birthday which was today!! Happy 13th Birthday Pix!!

You sit silhouetted by the full moon and I can only sigh softly. How is it that a pokemon that evolves only in the sun can be so fascinated by the moon? You puzzle me some times but with out a doubt it is one of the reasons I love you so much.
"Verdant?" You call out, turning ever so slightly. The stone in the center of your forehead shines a brilliant red in the moon light.
"Yes?" I take a step closer as a warm breeze ruffles my tan fur. "What is it?"
"Sit with me." You turn away, your attention returning to the white orb in the midnight sky. I sigh again but trot over to his side without a fuss. After any excuse to move closer to you was good enough for me.
"Verdant," You start and I turn to you surprised. Never in all the nights we had sat upon the roofs or the ruins in Hearthome City had you addressed me any further than beckoning me to sit with you.
"What?" My voice seems weak and far off to me and I jump slightly as your wrap your forked tail around me.
"Have I ever told you why I watch the moon and the stars Verdant?" you don't look at me but I can tell that you are still paying attention to my every movement.
"No….. Why then?" I choke out. I'm not used to all this attention from you.
"The moon….. Did you know that it is reflecting the sun? And that what we see right now is the reflected rays of the sun? It is." You nod sagely, turning your deep lavender eyes on me. "And the stars…… That millions of light years away they are suns of their own? Why, this makes you wonder what's out there doesn't it?"
I look at you dumbstruck, what had prompted you to share this with me? I hadn't said something to you have I? Softly I voice my confusion to you and of all things to go you laugh!
"Why? I felt like I should tell you." You chortle. "After all we are the two Eeveelutions that are the most dependent on the sun."
"….." I stare at you wordlessly for a few seconds before turning my gaze unto the moon itself. "It is beautiful….. The moon and the stars together……."
What you say next startles me, as it is so out of character for you. "Of them what do you think in the prettiest?"
I stare at you in shock but you already have turned your eyes skyward. "…… The stars I guess."
"The stars?" You echo, looking at me bemusedly.
"So? You look at the moon every night!" My short fur bristles and my green leafy ears press against the back of my skull.
"….."
I turn my head away, embarrassed from my out burst. "Sorry….."
"Look at the moon? I only do that some times, the rest of the time……" You look away, a pale flush appearing on your lavender muzzle. "I spend most of my time looking at you Verdant. Oh how elegant and graceful you look in the moon light I can barely look away."
My brown eyes open wide and a blush forms over my own muzzle. "Regal……" I shuffle my paws on the sandstone roof and look down bashfully.
"Verdant, I may love the moon and the stars but never forget that it is you that I love more." You get up and jump off the roof of the ruin, landing lightly on all four feet. And for the first time ever I sit up on the roof alone as you retire before I do.
