"I'm sorry but this is goodbye," Lucy spoke as tears streamed down her face.
Natsu stood their like a statue. His lips quivered as he spoke words he wished he never have to say to the girl he loved with all his heart "Goodbye Lucy I'll never stop loving you".
As Lucy walked away she whispered "Nor will I" thinking he could not hear her but he did. Having heard this Natsu looked up at the baby blue sky and began to cry more. Lucy turned around to see the damage she had done to the boy who had her heart. Lucy ran back home as her tears continued to trail down her face.
As the sunset over the horizon Lucy looked out her window and thought how much it reminded her of Natsu. Lucy burst into tears again as she thought of all the memories she had shared with Natsu. Natsu laid down on his roof and pulled out a star locket. The star locket was a five point star colored gold with rainbow gemstones on each of the points. Natsu open the locket to see a picture of him and Lucy dressed in kimonos watching the fireworks in the distance. Natsu had tears streaming down his face as he remembered it was the summer he confessed to Lucy.
"Oh Lucy why did you have to say goodbye why not see you later" Natsu whispered as he cried himself to sleep.
Lucy stood at the airport early in the morning having closed her eyes hoping she didn't have to go. She was so in thought that she did not hear Natsu walk up to her until Natsu hugged her. Lucy's breath hitched as Natsu hugged her. Lucy was about to tell him to stop until she heard him whisper in her ear.
"Lucy please come back to me because it's can't be goodbye it's see you later" Natsu whispered in her ear crying. Lucy hugged Natsu then began to look into his eyes Natsu shuddered at how much saddest was being held in her eyes. As if she were to cry a river would form from her tears.
Lucy got on her tiptoes and whispered in Natsu's ear "No matter how long it takes me I will come back to you so I'll see you later Natsu".
Lucy let go of Natsu and ran to her gate as she did she turned around and smiled a we will see each other again. Natsu began to cry as he watch the one he love run away to a different future.
