Summary: After Dewy admits defeat and retires through exhaustion, the band have a tough time finding a replacement. Not many teens are interested in being in a band these days. Especially a rock band. Zach and Freddy even try to persuade their classmates to audition. Finally after pestering most of the class, Zach suggests they ask Rin Sparkey (the new girl). Too bad that Freddy closes up and refuses to ask her. It looks like Summer and Zach are left to ask Rin.

Dewy Finn collapsed on the floor for the second time that week. He's been doing that a lot lately; especially during band practice.

Dropping his drumsticks, sixteen year old Freddy Jones (aka Spazzey McGee) stood up and walked over to the old man. "Dude, are you sure you're alright? You've been doing this all month."

Panting heavily, Dewy straightened up. "No... No... I'm... I'm good... Just..."

"Hungover?" Zach Mooneyham provided placing his guitar down. "Look, Dewy. Like Freddy said, you've been doing that all month. You need to rest or... Well, retire?"

Summer Hathaway stepped into the room with a cell phone attached the her ear. "Well, we'll have to- Can I call you back? Yes, thanks. Bye." She detached it from her ear and frowned looking at the old man. "Dewy, not again! You really need to retire."

Dewy quickly stood up and waved his hands around in defence. "No way, man! Where would you guys find a replacement in such a short time? We can't even find new backing singers or groupies."

It was true. And they couldn't control it. High school was difficult plus their parents getting transferred to other states was bad enough.

"I bet we could," Katie (their Bassist) spoke up. "I know some of our classmates at school would love to."

"Ur, Katie? Where do the Punks or Goths hang out? I only see us and a couple of hard to approach kids," Freddy retorted. "Dewy's right, finding a replacement is gonna be hard."

Summer and Katie weren't going to give up. Summer smiled as she turned on Zach. "Come on, Zach. Help us and I might reconsider."

Freddy, being curious, asked, "reconsider what?" When Zach didn't respond and his cheeks went red, he grinned. "Oh, Zach. D'ya fancy Summer?"

"No!" Zach practically screamed. He cleared his throat, "I mean, Katie and Summer have the right idea. But, Dwey would have to agree to it..."

They all turned to Dewy expectantly. He sighed, "okay. I give in. You guys find me a replacement while I suffocate in boredom."

Summer and Katie grinned as they left the apartment to set to work.

"Zach? Freddy? We have work to do!" Summer called fom the door.

They shot Dewy nervous glances.

He frowned in frustration. "Go! Just go!"

Groaning, both teens followed the girls.
