Inuyasha walked in the forest surrounded by silence. "Kagome......" He'd been wondering where she's been since the day she ran off.

FLASHBACK

"Umm, Inuyasha I have to go," Kagome said quivering.

"Why? What's been going on these last few days?" He said grabbing onto Kagome's arm.

"Inuyasha I really have to go, now let go of me!" Inuyasha let go of Kagome's arm slowly. Kagome then ran towards the well and jumped in.

"What's going on with her?" Inuyasha asked himself as he walked back into the forest, heading toward camp where everyone else was.

END FLASHBACK

Inuyasha shook his head and walked toward the well. He looked in then Sango, Shippo, and Miroku appeared," Inuyasha where is Kagome? I miss her, when is she coming back? Can you go get her?" Inuyasha looked at him annoyingly, and then he remembered the scared face Kagome had on.

"Shippo...." Inuyasha said seemingly thoughtfully.

Shippo covered his head afraid Inuyasha might hit his head." Yes Inuyasha?"

"You're right, I should go get her."

Everyone looked at him funny," Inuyasha are you feeling alright?"

"I'm feeling fine!" Inuyasha yelled as he slowly walked toward the well and looked in again but this time he was going to jump in. Inuyasha looked back then made up his mind," I'm going to get Kagome!" He said confidently. Inuyasha jumped in not regretting anything. When he got to the other side he saw Souta playing outside.

"Inuyasha!!! I didn't think you were coming back!"

"Why not?"

"Well because of the look in Kagome's face."

"Where is she now?"

"She's in her room, Mom says she has a high fever."

"Oh. Can I go see her?"

"Yeah."

Inuyasha walked into the house where he saw Ms. Hishigari.

"Well Inuyasha I'm glad you decided to use the door this time. If you would like to go see Kagome you could go to her room, she's not really feeling good as you already know from Souta."

"Sure."

He walked up the stairs to see Kagome coming out of her room.

"Inuyasha......"

Kagome fell unconsciouses as Inuyasha ran up to catch her. "Ms. Hishigari!! Kagome!"

Kagome's mom ran up the stairs as soon as she heard Inuyasha. At this point Inuyasha knew this wasn't just a normal fever this was something else, something worse, much worse.
