Corvina stared out of the window, it was hard to believe she of all people would be sitting alone. She knew she was feared but knew many would avoid her simply because of who her parents were. Being the daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange was bad enough but then saying your father is the Dark Lord sends people into a shock. The person knocking on the door would very soon find that out the hard way. Corvina flicked her wand and the door banged open.
"I swear down, if you're a mudblood I will have you killed right here, right now! No-" she started before getting cut off.
"My God, Ena. You must really be hating the journey. That or you have Aunt Bella's personality," her cousin, Draco Malfoy, told her. Corvina sighed at the mention of her mother. Aunt Cissy always says she disgraced the family and her husband was always insulting her father. Corvina would always be grateful, her Aunt and Uncle took in herself and her sisters, but sometimes they insulted their parents which would always end in an argument.
"Mother says you have to have your dress fitting next week for the Masquerade, no exceptions," Draco drawled at her. He then left her alone and Corvina flicked her wand and the door locked again.
As she pulled on her robes and pulled her hair up she wondered what her life would be like if her parents were still around... still her parents. She wondered how thrilled Aunt Cissy wpuld be at this moment in time knowing she could play dolls with no boys around. She wondered how her sisters liked being Aunt Cissys dolls. She let out a tinkling laugh as she imagined Gaspara's face.
She unlocked the door and ventured down the train, knocking on a door with two boys and a girl inside of it. She instantly recognized the black haired boy and hissed at him. The three looked up at the sudden intrusion.
"What do you want, Malfoy?" the ginger haired boy said sarcastically with obvious disdain in his voice. Her eyes widened, no body, no body had ever called her a Malfoy.
"It's Riddle, you traitor. If you ever read a book you'd know I'm not a Malfoy! My mother was born a Black and my fathers from the Slytherin line, I'm the heir!" She shrieked at him, her mothers mad shout and teasing voice coming though in her own. She stood their, pondering if they would respond when the bushy haired girl spoke up.
"I know who you are. You're Lady Corvina Darcia Riddle, heir of Slytherin, otherwise known as the Gaunts, the Riddles and third in line to the Black family, behind your Uncle Sirius Orion Black and your mother, Bellatrix Druella Riddle née Black," she blurted out.
"Correct. Umm I'm actually going to go, but feel free to join me," Corbina said as she went back to her compartment. This was going to be a long year.
