Love Into the Night

Kurt's POV
"This is peaceful." I breathe just loud enough for Blaine to hear.
"Yes, it is." Blaine said back, kissing my hair afterwards.
Tonight, we had the chance to escape from the drama from school and family. Blaine took the chance to take me out to dinner at Breadstix and to a place on the outskirts of town . So here we are, lying on a blanket watching the stars and enjoying each other's company.
"Hey, Kurt?" Blaine asked quietly.
"Yes, hun?" I whispered.
"I…uh…I have something for you."
"What is it? Should I be concerned?" I sat up to look at him. "Just show me. Whatever you have is fine with me."
"Please don't judge me for what I am about to do." he said to me.
I stroked his cheek gently. "I won't, Blaine. You have my word." I left a little kiss on his cheek. He smiled a little.
He sat up, too, and took a box out of his pocket. "Kurt, what I am about to do means I am ready to spend the rest of my life with you." He opened the box and inside rested a ring. "Kurt Elizabeth Hummel, will you do the honor of marrying me and becoming my husband?"
Tears were in my eyes. "Yes, Blaine. Yes! A million times yes!" I kissed his lips with passion. He slipped the ring onto my finger.
"Thank you, Kurt. You mean so much to me. You mean everything to me and you always will." He rested his head on my shoulder. "Sorry. I'm a little emotional right now."
"It's alright. So am I." I petted his hair since he didn't gel in it. "I love you." I pulled his chin up. "You know that right?"
"Yes, I do. I love you, too." He pressed his lips to mine for a chaste kiss. This was the best night ever.
