April 18

Miles Edgeworth heard someone knock on his front door. He put down the book he was reading, to answer the door. Standing outside was his friend and rival, Phoenix Wright. "Ah, Wright. What brings you here?" Edgeworth asked. "Can I come in?" Wright asked. "Of course. Make yourself at home." Edgeworth smiled. He held the door open for him, and Wright stepped inside. "So, uh... What're you gonna get her?" Wright asked as he sat on the couch. "Hm? What am I going to get for who?" Edgeworth asked. "Edgeworth! I can't believe you! Tomorrow's April 19, and it's your girlfriend's birthday!" Wright exclaimed. "Oh. You mean Kay's birthday?" Edgeworth said. "Yes! Who else could it be?!" Wright scoffed. "I'm sorry. It must have slipped my mind." Edgeworth apologetically said. "Gimme a break! You're together with her for five years now, and you forget! I can't believe you." Wright scolded. "Wright, as a prosecutor, I am always busy. So, I apologize." Edgeworth said. "Forgiven. What are you gonna give her?" Wright asked.

"Um... I really don't know..." Edgeworth admitted. "I really don't want to give her flowers. She's got a lot of flowers for the past years already. I'm sure she wouldn't like it any longer." "Yeah, good point. You should give her something special, since you're special to her, y'know what I'm saying?" Wright suggested. "I'll think about it, Wright." Edgeworth said. "You'd better. You know Kay, she's moody, and all that..." Wright muttered. "Are you giving her something, too?" Edgeworth asked. "Yeah, from me and Maya. I don't know, Maya's shopping right now." Wright replied. "Since she's one of Kay's best friends, she wants something nice for her as well." "I see... Okay, I'll think of something I can give her. Thanks for reminding me, Wright." Edgeworth smiled. "Don't mention. Just keeping Kay from getting mad. Right, now I gotta go. See ya tomorrow!" Wright told him. He rushed out the door, leaving Edgeworth to think.
