Chapter One: The Legend
Flickering stars in the sky, enveloped by a blanket of darkness, the midnight black celestial sphere. The moon, the source of light in that sky, it is very mysterious. Some say that one may look up to the moon and witness a slight glimmer of a legendary goddess's face. Others even say that the moon might've even been the goddess's temple, where she would play her harp and sing intoxicating melodies. Her alluring name was Ianite, the goddess of balance. She cared not of her trepidations, but of equilibrium. After all, it was her métier.
She was most prominent for her Silencing song, even though it was the most lethal of all her tunes. After playing certain notes of a relaxing melody on her harp, it soon sounds like a lullaby. Ianite then recites, "O' many moons and suns, lend me your power to unite light and dark, purity, corrupt, rebirth..." The Silencing song is self-explanatory, as she silences every living organism and destroys all the universes, only to make them rebirth and start over again. Many rumors also say that she recites her Silencing Song verse backwards afterwards. However, a vile force wanted to take ahold of her, since she was one of the most powerful goddesses.
The malicious entity was called Virakhul, and he was feared omnipresent. One day, Ianite was captured brutally by Virakhul, even after her most powerful attempts to resist. Her mystical harp was taken away from her. It is said that her harp was broken into 20 pieces, and that those segments were scattered all around the Milky Way Galaxy. Ianite was chained with the most powerful cuffs in existence: the Demon cuffs. They were said to be cursed, and would drain any powers or energy you had painfully and slowly. She was doomed to be chained in a chamber of solitude, for a thousand years.
However, the legend fortold that two heroes would come to her rescue, destined to defeat Virakhul and his reign in many galaxies.
What everyone didn't know is that the two heroes were only about 12 years old.
