The girls where watching the segment with the shield, evolution seemed to be no more leaving the shield as the victors, Soraya had a huge smile on her face, even though roman came back to her with a beaten and bruised body, the smile on his face was well worth it.

"Girl how was he yesterday after the match" trinity said as they watch the segment as triple h and randy came out.

"He was really sore but he was happy that they won" she replied with a smile as they watched.

Triple h was ranting about something about plan b or something like that, but Soraya sensed that something wasn't right as dean and roman began to walk towards them.

But then the most unexpected event happened.

"What in the world" Soraya said when Seth struck roman against the back causing him to fall to his knees and then he hit dean.

"What in the world is wrong with him?" Soraya said as she watched in horror as Seth handed the chair to randy who continued to pound on him with the chair and even tore off his vest and continued his assault on him and then slammed his head unto the chair with an RKO.

Soraya could only watch in horror, wounds on his back looked extremely painful as they made their way backstage.

Roman and dean entered their dressing room; they didn't know what to think, for they had been betrayed by the one person that they once saw as the mediator and peace maker of the group. How was the question on their minds and why did he do it.

Roman tried to tough out his injuries but the pain was becoming unbearable, his head was pounding, his throat was raw, and his chest and back felt like he was whipped with barbed wire but the worst pain of all was in his heart.

Betrayal brought the worst pain of all.

But before he could think about it much, there was a knock on the door, dean had gone into the showers so he when to answer the door he opened the door and saw Soraya there with a bag.

"Hey you" he said trying to hug her but she refused to hug him back "what's wrong baby girl"

"I can't hug you" she said as she came in with him behind her.

"Why not" he said to her as he sat down, but the pain in his back was clear but he was surprised when she came behind him.

"Because of your back, remove your shirt" she said to him, but when he looked back at her with his brow raised she added "please Joey"

So he took it off and he could her gasp when he did but before he could say anything, she kneeled behind him and began to treat his back.

"Tell me if it hurts ok"

"Ok" he said, sure it stung when she put the various ointments on it, but she was being so gentle with him, she was such a sweetheart.

"Ok all done with that" she said now standing in front of him "may I do the front" she said causing him to smile.

"By all means" he said as she repeated the process on his chest.

"So what now" she asked him.

"What do you mean?"

"Now that Seth's gone what next"

"I'll tell you what next" dean said as he came out of the shower, dressed in a white shirt and shorts "if he wants to run off and be a sell out then that's fine, but he knows that he will pay the price for it, right big man"

"Absolutely" he said before turning to Soraya "but you don't have to worry your pretty little head about it ok" he said before kissing her forehead as they got up.

"Ok, ready to go" she said to him as he put his shirt back on.

"Yeah, let's go" he said as they said good-bye to dean and left the room.

The shield might have been broken but maybe it was better that way, after all good things come to those who believe.
