I just can't understand Slytherins, especially not that Slytherin. They're a puzzle, no an - enigma wrapped up in a puzzle. It's almost as if they want you to come and put them together, to piece out all of their issues and temperaments and faults and pretensions.
They can drive a person mad just thinking about it. Especially him, I can't even begin to puzzle him out. I want to know what he's all about, why he does the things he does.
I guess I'll never know exactly why, but I want some of his reasoning to be clear, as clear as his eyes. No, not just his eyes, his eyes when he's in a blissfully unaware - happy state of mind. The smoky haze leaves them and they become pure silver. Silver like the purity and light that radiates from new life in the spring, like the joy in a child's eyes on Christmas morn, like the love a mother gives her children.
I suppose he's never known or seen those things, considering who he is and where he's from. Yet, sometimes people surprise you with what they really are and what they know and how they go about life.
You can't always assume that a person is what they project to the outside world. I know I'm not. People see me as something that I'm not. I guess that's the same with him. People see him as rude, irritating, smug, overbearing, ferret-like… The real person inside him is probably not any of those things. Well, maybe slightly ferret-like.
I want to get inside his head, see what, and who, he really is. I want to see the real person, not the superficial façade that he puts up for the world to see. I want the real, true Draco Malfoy that I've come to imagine so much about. I want to see him, talk with him, learn what he loves and what he hates.
I've just come to realize this; I think I've unwillingly fallen for this person that I don't even know if exists. Bloody Hell, I've fallen in love with the real Draco Malfoy. Damn him for being a Slytherin. Damn him for being an enigma wrapped up in a puzzle. Damn him for just being himself…
Damn me for falling for him.
So this is a nonSlytherin, most likely Harry, Ginny, or Hermoine/ Draco.
I like reviews, reviews are good, reviews get me inspired to write more.
