This is my first Fanfic. Please enjoy. BTW: my name is Alison, when it comes up in later chapters, you'll know who people are talking about.
"Ugh!" I moaned as a stretched out across my bed. I just couldn't sleep. I rolled my head toward the clock. 1:35 am said the green digits.
I got up and went over to my computer. I turned on the monitor and tapped on the keyboard keys to wake it up. What should I do with my insomnia? I thought as I clicked the internet icon on my desktop.
I randomly surfed for a while until I came across a video of a drama of the anime "Negima." I had just started watching the anime a few days prior and already loved it. A friend recommended it to me after I finished "Death Note." Though both shows were polar opposites, I loved them both.
I couldn't find the show in subtitles, but it didn't matter. I was just doing this to kill time and make my eyes tired.
It didn't work. The only thing that it ended up doing was burning the cute little actor who played Negi into my retinas and the sound of Japanese speech in my ears.
I walked out into the game room and put a CD into my PS2 and turned up the music. My mother was working nightshift and my dad had died when I was 10, so no one was around to stop me. As long as it wasn't loud enough to be heard outside that is.
Bam!Despite the loud music, I heard a noise outside on the porch. I turned off the music and listened. Again the sound came and I became worried.
I slid the glass door open only a crack and flipped on the light. I saw something jump. I looked thought the shades and saw the shadowy figure of a person near the other end of the porch.
In fear of the intruder, I ran quickly, but silently, to my room. I grabbed my samurai sword and ran back. It was more for show than anything else, but was heavy and probably could do some damage. If not, they would probably be scared off by it anyway.
I stood by the door, ready to pounce. Once they stepped one more step toward me, I'd get them.
I saw a shoe step into the light and I ran at the intruder with full force. He turned his head and muttered something under his breath. I closed my eyes and swung, aiming for his head. He was much shorter than I would have imagined, but that didn't matter now.
I felt my sword hit something hard, but I did not hear the noise of the hit. I opened my eyes. I hadn't hit anything, but yet could not move my sword any further.
I noticed someone right below the blade. It was a boy with light brown hair and circular glasses. He looked like he was an Asian/Caucasian mix. He held up a stick with a spiral at the end and some kind of cloth draped around it. I knew who it was. It was the person whose image was burned into my eyes, I just couldn't believe it.
It was Negi Spingfield.
