Fathers are forever

Summary
: Martin picks up a letter his daughter Theresa has put at the bottom of his tombstone for the 18th anniversary of his 'death'. One-shot fic....Dear Papa,
in honor of the 18th anniversary of your death, here is what I've written :
Fathers are forever. Not just for a moment, a second, a minute, an hour, a day, a week or even a few years.
They are now and forever.
Their love is warm like sunshine and the sun pours over the sadness and pain to heal and care.
Their touch, like a million clouds, is soft and light. Caring for the child that they helped to create.
Their eyes are aged with time with knowledge of life.
Their wisdom is like pearls.
They should be scooped up because they are even more valuable then the richest gem.
They have powerful ears that sense hurt, sadness and pain.
They are here to help through the stages of life.
They comfort us through our sadness.
When I lost my brother Antonio, one whom was close to my heart, you weren't there…
When I fell off my bike and needed comforting, you weren't there…
When I needed someone to cry on, you weren't there…
Papa… yes, Papa…
Even though you've never been there for me, I can't help but say...
I love you and I always will.
Watch over me, my son and my unborn baby from the clouds of Heaven.
Sincerely,
your mija Theresa
