AN: Here is another Thuna collab one-shot from Yellow and I :D The title, ehh I was listening to my favorite band, MGMT so the title doesn't belong to me lol. Hope you like it, and review!

He was never scared of dying alone.

Never afraid to be alone.

Didn't even tremble when he was tortured by his father and the Dark Lord.

So why the bloody hell was he afraid to fall in love with Luna Lovegood?

Maybe it was because if he lost her, he'd go crazy.

He didn't want to lose her like he had lost his mother.

So he denied himself the one thing that made him happy and scared him at once.

As for Luna, she'd never been in love and so it couldn't be her fault that she had no idea what this feeling was.

She was used to avoiding people, scared of what they might do to her.

Her friends were an exception, she couldn't help it but this... it was a new emotion and so how could anyone blame her for being frightened and trying to get away?

She didn't want to hurt anyone; she just wanted to stay safe.

But she couldn't stay away.

He was mysterious and captivating.

Theodore was a puzzle that she wanted to solve.

She was attracted to him.

His loneliness, that was by choice, while hers wasn't.

That unnerving feeling she had when he would look her way in the corridors.

Fear.

But amazement.

She was stuck.

Luna wanted him, but that would mean she had to say goodbye to her friends, friends that were there now, that cared.

She didn't know if Theodore was a constant and that scared her.

Luna was just a confused girl.

She didn't want to leave her friends but she couldn't ignore Theo.

Wouldn't ignore him.

She didn't know what it was that attracted her to him but she was never one to compete with fate.

So she followed after him.

And he couldn't stop thinking about her.

So he accepted fate – or whatever she called it.

Theodore felt like he was in heaven when Luna was with him.

He felt warm and loved.

Something he hadn't felt for so long.

She was so bizarre, so unique and beautiful.

He would never get bored of her.

Everyday he would learn something new.

Nargles.

Wrackspurts.

Crumple-Horned Snorkack.

How to love.

He was starting to act like a fool.

His friends teased him when he defended her, snickering and telling him to dump her because Slytherins don't date crazy Ravenclaws.

They started ditching him for Parkinson and her friends when he began reading The Quibbler and refusing to find a new girlfriend.

He didn't want his friends to leave him but he wouldn't give up on her.

But at the end of the day...

His friends wouldn't be there.

She was, though.

Telling him that he was far more greater than them.

That he had a heart that pumped for her, no one else.

And after he'd heard that enough, he started to believe her.

He really thought it would work between them, and maybe that was foolish but it's what he thought.

No one believed that they would survive.

But they did.

They both were alive and together after the war.

They had a family and children.

Boys that looked like him, and beautiful girls that looked like Luna.

A foolish conversation started it all, for them to be together.

And thankfully they did stay together.

Maybe everyone just needed a foolish crazy someone in their life for them to be happy.

And maybe it wouldn't work for everyone but it worked for Theo.

It worked very well.
