OKAY , SO THIS IS A PREQUEL TO PLAYING GAMES WHICH WAS ORIGINALY A SERIES BUT IM TURNING IT INTO A ONE SHOT AND CREATING A FOUR PART SEREIS ABOUT THE CHARECHTARS. ALSO IT IS FOLLOWING THE SAME PLOT LINE AS PLAYING GAMES SO FINNICK, PRIM AND MADGE ARE ALIVE. SO THIS IS THE FIRST IN THE SERIES AND ITS ABOUT ANIE AND FINNICKS LIVES AFTER THE REBELLION. ENJOY!
After The War : Finnick And ANNIE
Chapter 1
Annie's POV
I wait for the the hovercraft with Haymitch, Johanna ,Beetee , the Hawthornes and Everdeens to pick us up and bring us to the Capital. President Coin wants all the victors in the togather for some sort of meeting. I can't wait to see Finnick. I do'nt know how long it's been since ive seen him, it feels like years altough it has most likely just been a couple of weeks. I was never good with time.
We get on board once it comes and I sit beside Johanna and Primrose Everdeen, Katniss' sister and shes so sweet it's hard not to like her and I suppose it also has something to do with my little sister Aria whos about the same age as her.
It's quite on the hovercraft and nobody talks which makes it kinda awkward so I think of Finnick and my Family or whats left of my family. Both my parents are dead aswell as my older brother and sister. Now all I have is me twin brother Mike and my sister Aria who is 13. I wonder how they are or are they even still alive. And I wonder how finnick is I do'nt even know if hes alive or dead. But I will not give up hope. Afterall hope is the only thing stronger than fear, something my mother always used to say.
After about an hour of awkward silence and and people trying to make small talk but failing we finaly arive in the Capital. We are led into a huge mansion which I assume could only be Snows we stop in a big dining room with a bunch of people in it all dressed in District 13 army uniforms. I search for finnick.
"Annie"I turn around to see my husbad and I immediatly run and embrace him in a hug
"Your never leaving me again" I whisper.
"Ive missed you so much" he says I look at him. His right arm is in a sling and he's holding a crutch in his left hand.
" oh my god finnick are you okay"I ask worridly. He chuckles and says"Im fine now that your here and I promise that I will never leave you again for as lon as I live" and I know that hes telling the truth because Finnick Odair never breaks his promisis.
