Unsettled

Nothingness pours into veins that shrink and cower

Delirious ideas invade open minds and bomb quickly

Incidents cause skeletons to cage themselves in plain sight

The world pretends obliviousness,

In return we keep our wading to the shallow quicksand.

Always losing time and being lost by freedom

Golden houses and ruby love shade away the blood

It stains into our very skin,

We are savage with the change.

Unsettled are the decisions that keep us in those strange golden houses

Safety is a feral beast with a deceiving smile

Dancing on top of gushing waterfalls, running in place,

Destination unknown and cure for restlessness yet to be found.

The threads of bone and skin are frayed and torn

Which thorn on your rose pricked first?

And when did your fears unsettle, spinning out alone.
