Mukuro woke up with a start. His eyes snapped open as he frantically looked at his surroundings. He confirmed he was in Kokuyo Land and tried to relax. He was sweating. Mukuro stood up after a few minutes, not wanting to waste the night. He walked out of Kokuyo Land. He began to wander around and without knowing, went into Namimori. Mukuro walked into a park and sat down on a nearby bench. He stared absent mindedly at the sky. It felt so peaceful here. Away from those dreams. A small breeze passed by him.
"Rokudo Mukuro, I will bite you to death for trespassing onto Namimori." Scratch that. It wasn't peaceful. When did he even get into Namimori anyways?
Hibari charged at Mukuro with hit tonfas ready to strike him. Mukuro put up a hand and stopped the attack. Hibari swung his other tonfa at Mukuro's head. Mukuro tilted his head to the side and dodged the blow. Mukuro jumped back and summoned his trident. Hibari tried to attack Mukuro again. Mukuro used his trident to block each blow. Hibari seemed to realize something after a while and stopped attacking Mukuro.
"You aren't worth beating up right now." Hibari turned around and left.
"Not worth it, huh…" Mukuro mumbled to himself. He lowered his trident and walked back to Kokuyo Land slowly.
He finally reached Kokuyo Land and plopped himself onto the couch. He had a sad smile on his face. He would have to go soon enough wouldn't he? He lied down on the couch with his hand on his forehead as he stared at the decaying ceiling.
The next morning, Mukuro woke up slowly. His eyes fluttered opened as he sat up. Today was his last chance wasn't it? Mukuro got up and walked to Namimori Middle School. He used an illusion to disguise himself as a student from Namimori Middle School to drive away suspicion.
Hibari was standing near the gates as usual. He narrowed his eyes at Mukuro.
"Herbivore. You're late. I'll bite you to death." Mukuro dropped the illusion as Hibari swung his tonfa. Mukuro moved forward and grabbed Hibari's shirt by the collar. He pulled Hibari to him and gave him chaste kiss. A clatter could be heard as Hibari's eyes widened slightly. The kiss was only for a few seconds before Mukuro pulled away with a sad smile.
"Sayonara," Mukuro whispered. Mukuro began to shatter into little lotus petals. The petals flew away, carried by the wind to a new place.
Hibari stood there frozen in shock. His tonfas were on the ground. He continued to stand there frozen, even as the wind blew away the petals.
