A/N: This is a very random piece of writing I did about a month ago. I found it in an old notebook and decided to adapt it for Edvy purposes. Well, here goes nothing.

The Wrong One

Eyes of pure amethyst hue collided with the skies above. They were of separate worlds, of separate times. Oblivion divides amethyst from the object of desire, so close, so far. Void gaping before each, neither yielding to the other. Raw emotions roil in the darkening amethyst abyss. Despair, desire, lust, need, anger, envy. Soul rent asunder with passionate want of the ever-unobtainable goal. Eyes veiled, the color ever shifting. Reaching across the void with every cell and nerve in his body. Take me, plead the eyes, please. I so beg of you. Like tumultuous waves in a raging tempest, want and need poured forth from those eyes.

Twin golden orbs gazed with infatuation at the broken figure lying on the ground, gazing into the twilit heavens. What if? A simple question, yes. What if I – no, not today, the golden orbs said. How can he want such an impossible thing? How contradictory; I want the impossible as well, do I not? Swift glances at him, long stares. See me, want me instead. Silent curses of despair.

Amethysts rip themselves from the vault of the heavens to rove the surrounding area. What was that noise? Who utters such whispered hate? Gold peeks from under a furrowed brow. Amethyst eyes connect. Euphoria replacing that searching gaze. The golden orbs tell of unspoken, forbidden emotion. The amethyst saw the longing, the desire, felt the tingle from his gaze linger on his pale skin. Together? The eyes gaze at each other in askance. Eden had been reached. The skies were lonely, and the heavens were envious.

Interpret it however you like. Please do not take it so seriously so as to pick it to the bone and tell me how I did horribly at character development. I was not aiming for that; I wanted a nonsensical little love story thing. R&R I hope y'all liked it!
