Author's Note: a prompt from shindanmaker, because on tumblr there was a sudden surplus of posts with prompts that were generated from there. This is one of the many I decided to take on. Specifically "Shark and Kaito have alcohol experiences."
It was odd to know that the guy asking for entrance into his apartment building was the guy who stole his soul, but Shark had nothing better to do and Kaito was drenched in the nearly acidic rain of Heartland City. So, against his better judgement, Shark rang him through the doors and let him into his humble flat.
The blonde's boots soaked through the welcome mat, and Shark only gave a cursory thought to the water leaking into the apartment below his before insisting that Kaito take off his jacket too, lest he want to get a cold. Not that Shark cared, after having been hospitalized by the guy.
They didn't talk, but a silent exchange led Shark to open his liquor cabinet and pour them some shots. After dunking the third one down, Kaito began to talk.
Everything just bubbled forth, and Shark didn't stop him. They shared their experiences, they admitted to their mistakes, and they even came close to apologizing to each other before another silent agreement passed between them and nothing needed to be said about those events again.
An hour later, they were lying on the couch, holding each other and mumbling about their stupid little crushes and how they were so damn oblivious and why couldn't they just realize that they wanted them.
A few minutes later, they were taking it out on each other.
The morning after, they woke up to find the counter littered with empty bottles and unfinished glasses, and promptly made another silent agreement: they would never talk about that night again.
