Harry Proposes
A few years after the war had ended, Harry continued his pathway towards becoming an Auror while Ginny became a professional Quidditch player for the Harpies. Harry held a surprise for Ginny for the past year then, and has been waiting for the right time to show her. So, after her first winning game of the season, Harry surprised her off the field, seeming to be holding something behind his back.
"Harry, dear. What are you doing here? I thought you had work today..." Ginny questioned, kissing her boyfriend on the cheek before tilting her head slightly at his hidden hand.
Harry gave her a small grin, taking her hand in his while keeping his eyes locked on hers. "Ginevra Molly Weasley. The very first time we saw each other at King's Cross Station...I knew you knew who I was. But I could tell you wouldn't say anything about it, so as to not make a big fuss about it. And I thank you for that. And since then, you've stood by me, whether it be close or afar. And helped lead that battle against Voldemort. You've remained loyal, and trustworthy to me. And with that, Ginny..." he knelt down onto one knee and pulled out what was behind him. He blew on the golden ball softly to open it, revealing a beautiful gold ring on the inside. "...Will you marry me?"
