This story is about Andy and Woody from Toy story, it does feature a human Woody. I am contemplating whether to continue, or not. All comments are welcomed and appreciated! I do not own any of the characters, or Toy Story, or Pinocchio! Enjoy! Please review! Thanks!

"Real isn't how you are made, it's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become real." –Skin Horse from Velveteen Rabbit.

"Little toy, made of vinyl, wake, the gift of life is thine." His entire form hurt, pain soaked into every seam and stitch.

"What's going on?" He gasped as he clutched at his chest, his whole chest rattled and shook as warmth shot through him and something began to beat.

"I have given you life." The angel smiled, she seemed much smaller now, and a little shorter than him. "There is a man out there who has wished for you to be made real." A million thoughts ran through his mind as he stared at his hands and his new fleshy body.

"Was it Andy?" His own deep voice shocked him, it was much louder and the words could be felt deep within his chest cavity. The blond haired fairy giggled gently.

"I think you know the answer to that."

"Is he in trouble? Does he need me?" He could feel his whole body tighten at the thought of his boy needing him, or being in trouble. His new heart pounded rapidly in his chest, causing him a great amount of pain. He placed a hand against his chest to try to stop the knocking.

"Go find him Sheriff Pride." The fairy smiled. "Prove yourself to be brave, truthful and unselfish and you will be allowed to stay in your human form." With the wave of her wand the blue fairy was gone.

Woody took one shaky step forward, he was not as light as he used to be, and he was no longer as agile as he used to be. He had to find Andy!

He was a few houses away from Andy's mother's house and he could see two people standing in front of the house. His eyes narrowed as he saw a taller man with a camouflaged hat and glasses. The man was donning a familiar black tee with a skull on it. Woody's heart fluttered as blue eyes met his hazel eyes. The man recognized him instantly, his lips whispered Woody's name and Woody couldn't help but smile. His name was said a little louder, and Woody couldn't help but to respond.

"Howdy Partner." Woody said gently. Tears welled in Andy's eyes as he ran to Woody and leaped into his arms.

"Oh my God, Woody!" Andy cried as he buried his face in Woody's chest and cried softly. Andy had always dreamed of Woody coming to life as a child, he had always dreamed of his idol being more than just a toy. Andy had no father, and Woody was the next best thing to him.

"Andy." Woody whispered lovingly as he hugged the man tighter to him. He made a silent vow to never let him go again. Suddenly everything went dark as something brought Woody back to reality and away from the wonderful dream of him being human and needed.

A single tear trickled down Woody's vinyl face as he thought of his once owner, Andy. He wondered if Andy ever thought of him and if the boy ever missed him, like Woody did daily.

In the town of Emeryville a man sat in his dorm room looking at the rain streaming down his window. His sad blue eyes rested on an old childhood picture of him and his best friend. He had his best friend on his shoulders and he was giving him a piggyback ride outside playing cowboys. He thought about his best friend and wondered where he was now and if he was happy; "Woody is no ordinary toy…he's brave. But the thing that makes Woody special is that he'll never give up on you. Ever." A single tear fell down his cheek as he thought of his final words about his best friend as he gave him the chance of a better home.
