What if the Harry Potter everyone new at Hogwarts was a lie?
What if Harry happened to be a mutant-telepath. A telepath whose powers surpass Charles Xavier's.
Harry as a young child can hear the thoughts of others around him but due to the Dursleys treatment of him no one notices the physical sighs of his powers due to him supposedly being a dilenquant. Over time Harry will gain control of his power and use it to better himself through meditation, and creating and protecting an inner world or mind palace ( a form of occlumancy which he will find later). Harry after seeing memories of differant books and movies in others heads finds a sense of purpose in the idea of creating an asortment of minions and followers who follow his biding . (I see him working thru a middleman or middlewoman sort of like James Moriarty does thru Irene Adler from sherlock holmes).
Thruout Hogwarts and the war with Voldemort harry will slowly and secretly build his empire while playing the part of the boy-who-lived in public.
He could find records in the backlogs of the prophet newspapers about the war with Grindelwald, that relatives of his Charlus and Dorea Potter were Gellerts top generals. He would search and during one of his summer breaks use his power to make it not be noticed he is missing. He would travel to Nurmengaurd prison and find the inprisoned Potters along with Gellert Grindelwald.
My hope is he would gain their loyalty and backing and use their power to take control of their creation Hydra.
Iyou can do this story as a crossover with marvel or the avengers or leave it as just Harry Potter its up to whoever takes up this challenge. Pairing whise i would like it to stay away from malexmale just because im not into those sort of pairings.
