[Request/Trade. Au. Mondo/Ishimaru.] The gang leader convinces his lover to ride his motorcycle... Was that such a good idea?
oooooo
"Not until we wear helmets," scolded Ishimaru where he stood, looking over the bike with distaste at the moment.
Groaning at that, he got off the motorcycle. Mondo went inside his house, going through his stuff.
His parents surprisingly didn't care that he rode motorcycles for some reason. He did pass for an adult, though. With Daiya having done the same thing at his age, maybe they just got used to it.
Done thinking pointlessly in the house, Mondo came back out with a couple of helmets. One of the headpieces had sheen with pure black, and the other with a blue sky and clouds on it. Embarrassed to say the one with clouds on it was usually his, he handed it to Ishi.
The younger struggling putting it on, and Mondo came to the rescue. Gingerly switching the way it was facing, he snugly fit it over the cranium. Clicking the scraps underneath the jaw and tightening it, then putting down the face shield, he nodded in approval.
Moving on to his own helmet, Daiya's old choice when he was required, he adjusted it accordingly. He gave up trying to snap the straps or put down the clear protector.
Sighing, he mounted his bike. She was perfect, and he sighed at that. Slowly he felt his crush coming in behind him. When he started the engine, he immediately got clung to like no tomorrow.
"Come on babe, there's a whole world out there for us!" That was too sappy, but he wanted to be reassuring.
It somewhat worked, because Ishimaru moved his helmet to rest on Mondo's back. He still shut his eyes harshly, scared stiff.
They backed out from the driveway, and Mondo took a deep breath. Just as fast as he usually went, he made his way through town. The people were used to him being like this. Even when he quit his gang he still loved doing this.
Going around a corner, he went on the street for the highway. The engine purred, and he enjoyed the wind in most of his hair and face. It almost had the same feeling as his old rides with the boys. But he'd do this for Ishimaru.
Getting to a red light, he found his old gang surrounded him. The men catcalled at the sight like the guys they were. But this wasn't in kind, of course.
"Ey, Mondo! Isn't that the freak that always likes the rules? What's he doin' on your ride?"
They laughed, then another pipes up, "I think goody-goody and Mondo are going' out, it's all over school!" They made disgusting croons, making Mondo tighten his grip in his handlebars. His could he not get up and pummel them?
"If you're dating this guy, then you must be desperate, right?"
That got Mondo. He cursed the red light, but turned to face the left, the side the talking came from, "That's funny, I almost didn't see you there. I was too busy having fun with my boyfriend."
The light turned green, and he zipped off. He was so proud he as only breaking one law today. Better than last time.
Ishimaru quivered slightly. His lover had stood up for him. It wasn't violent this time or anything. He squeezed a tighter hug as silent thanks.
"I love you, Ishimaru!" He yelled at the top of his lungs as they went through the neighborhoods. Revenge against wearing such silly helmets was always in order.
