A/N: I wrote this a while back. It was raining for several days straight so naturally I was thinking of Demy. I was thinking, since nobodies don't have emotions, that means they can't cry right. Demyx pretends to have emotions, but I think he's different. He's not like the other nobodies. Anyway, I hope you enjoys this!
All who went to that castle were dead, with the exception of Axel. Gone forever. Demyx stared up at that dark sky of the World that Never Was. He was a nobody. The other members told him constantly that it meant he had no heart, that he had no emotions. It wasn't possible for him to feel sadness or to cry. But Demyx was always sort of different. He refused to let go of the memories, and pretended to feel them. He pretended to feel sadness, but he could never cry.
He remebered back when he was younger, when he had his heart, when he was a little older than seven. His older brother was so nice and kind. He had taught him how to play the sitar and would ditch school just to sit on the roof of their house, eating sea salt ice cream. When he had died, he had sobbed for weeks whenever he was alone. His heart had felt like it had been ripped into tiny shred.
He had felt so much pain and emotion when his brother dies, but now he couldn't feel anything for the deaths of five. He could just pretend to feel remorse, plaster an expression he remembered on his face. But he could not cry.
Thunder from the dark skies above broke Demyx's train of thought. The man looked up towards the cloudy sky, just as several icy cold droplets of rain hit his skin, slowly running down his cheeks. He touched the droplet with the tips of his fingers, staring at them.
He couldn't cry, but he could pretend.
A/N: I don't know why, but Demyx looks like he would have an older brother. Anyway, I loves me Demyx. And I hope you liked this, despite it being sorta short. Please review please! Reviews make me happy^^. Thank you!
