The question "Who is Zero?" is an odd one, to which there is no real answer. He is a man, yes, but he is also hope. He is power and fire, sin and righteousness, precious and bright like the heart of the sun, but dark and terrifying like the devil. He is life and death, he is the whisper of a beautiful legend in the shadows of a gruesome night.

1. Introduction

So, you've decided to give my fic a chance eh? Well thank you very much, I appreciate your interest, and would very much like to hear feedback (though flames will be laughed at, shared with friends for more laughter and finally used to burn Twilight books).

What follows is important, so listen up my wonderful minions! :D

I will not force myself to keep explaining this stuff over and over again, since recently people on this site seem to be having problems reading AN's (seriously, there was this one fic I was reading just the other day, the author had very clearly explained things several times over in the AN, but I still saw reviews saying "I'm confused, what happened with so and so ect…")

With this in mind, I have decided to note down anything I think may impact your understanding of this fic here, on the first page. That way, nobody has any excuse. However, if you DO see something you think I haven't addressed, feel free drop me a polite PM about it.

Things you should be aware of;

I am very paranoid. I don't like to give away too much of my possible future plotlines, even if they're just basic outlines, but it's very hard to keep things vague when dealing with something as complex and plot heavy as CG. So with this in mind, don't pay too much attention to any mentions of plot. The actual fic is still in note form, and a lot of these ideas probably won't even make it to the actual writing of the story, so therefore the plotlines of these oneshots aren't to be taken too literally or looked at in massive detail.

They're not final, and by no means are they overly developed. Every plotline is just for that oneshot unless specified otherwise in the AN.

This fic is second-chance inspired and it's also becoming rather AU (though not event wise, more backstory wise) as well. Plotlines will greatly veer away from canon sometimes, and other times will stay canon, but as I said, don't take them too seriously. Chances are the finished product will be completely different.

In short, these oneshots are Just. For. Fun. They DO NOT necessarily represent the eventual fic as a whole, they merely offer insight into my writing style, give a peek into what I may have planned for my fic, and can serve to help give other CG authors inspiration.

So, keep this in mind when you read these oneshots. Their plot begins and ends within them, and them alone, unless I specifically state otherwise.

Phew…that's it I guess! I can't think of anything else, so that must be it for now. More may be added later, but if the new content is related to a new oneshot, I will make sure to let you know, that way there will be no room for confusion.
