I am a fountain of many faces and tricks
you come with those tired limbs, and taste me so
as I tempt you with thirst
you drink my water
and drink until all is dry
with nothing else to offer
you dig trenches around me
barricade me from wild animals and choir boys
I am yours to have
to fill; to empty
carefully leaving prints, dictating your presence
so no one can take
away from you
what's rightfully yours
When all is done
you plant seeds
embedding ideas and soft words inside
where there is moisture and passion
tracing those lines with your fingertips
understand each bump and imperfection
muttering my name with each motion
delivering commitment that I hope you'll keep
and I flourish
Here, caress grows
the branches will catch your hair in the wind
revealing kisses, tickling your neck with warm breath
rustling greenery will purr words only you can hear
flattening the wrinkles between your eyes
such sad eyes...
there will be no regrets
no Justice, no Vengeance, no precautions
just you and I, beneath the vines, limbs intertwined
the feathers will be our bed
break the fall as we indulge
and your touch, gentle and light
with a strong grip
then the words 'future' and 'no fear' appear
in your palms
between your lips
weaving within your eyelashes
to see our silhouettes
swaying and swinging
inside the shade, under the leaves that wrap us
in this lucent paradise we call
home
here, at the upper left side of my chest
you will breathe, still and steady
with the sun rises and falls; the moon climbs and descents
I will stay
and rules will be broken
