Booth was tired. Anyone could see that. He was tired and beaten up pretty bad. He didn't want to go on. But he couldn't just give Brennan over to Epps. He looked over at her. She was lying there, beaten up. He knew she wanted to fight but it wasn't her battle. Sure, she would go on about his alpha-male tendancies, but what the hell? Epps had almost killed her, going on about 'honour garbage'. Booth looked back at Epps. How could he go on? Epps was strong and he knew his stuff. But how could he back down? Epps would brand him a coward.

Hodgins stood up in the crowd. Booth looked over to him for support; he was on the verge of breaking down and backing out. Hodgins lifted the small drum from his pocket and started to twirl it. Angela and Dr. Goodman followed his lead, as did the rest of the crowd. It was the secret to the Hodgins family karate. Booth couldn't figure it out…until now.

Booth turned back to Epps with a menacing look in his eyes. If looks could kill, he'd be dead. He turned his body from side to side, first punching Epps with his left fist, then his right, then left, then right, then left, then right again and Epps dropped to his knees. Booth grabbed the back of his hair with his left hand and raised his right hand above his head, ready to strike.

"Live or die man," he said threateningly. "It's your choice." Epps grinned and Booth saw the blood on his teeth.

"Die," said Epps, still grinning. Booth shook his head lightly.

"Wrong," he replied. Booth brought his right hand down to Epps' face and squeezed his nose between his first and middle fingers. "Hawww!"

The crowd erupted into applause. Booth smiled and dropped down on his knees next to Brennan. Brennan smiled and hugged him. Booth, still tired and out of breath, wrapped his arms around her and returned the hug. Up in the stands, Booth saw Hodgins looking down at him with obvious pride.

A/N: So what did you think? I pondered on the movie to choose for about half an hour before deciding. Please review!
