Periwinkle walked down the stairs of her room above the library of Haven Academy, her face expressionless. She had come back from an extended mission and she was not sure about everything that had happened. Winnie had rid herself of her emotions and this had made her antagonistic to her team. She had no interest in returning to a normal life, her job was to fight Grimm and that's what she had planned to do. Winnie was trained to kill Grimm, it was an unsettling job but a job nonetheless.

"I just hope I'll be able to deliver those books to Beacon today," The Faunus turned on the lights of the library and continued doing her rounds.

She set her scroll down upon the counter and texted the Headmaster about her delivery to Beacon. They had had an influx of students this year and ran out of textbooks for them, luckily for them, Haven had extra.

Winnie loaded a bag with the necessary books and headed out towards the airship. She scanned the ticket from her scroll and boarded the flight. Winnie glanced around to the other passengers and gave them a small smile.

"Aren't you the new Librarian for Haven?" One of them asked.

"Yes, I am a recent hire. It's a fine job," Winnie replied with a small nod, "I'm on my way to Beacon to deliver extra textbooks."

"I don't know why Professor Lionheart would hire a Faunus like you," Another snorted at her.

"Likely because I was most suited for the job, I don't know what me being a Faunus has to do with my qualifications for a job," Winnie looked to the guest unamusedly.

"Pfft, the only thing you Faunus girls are suited for is bedding partners or maids, no more no less," He replied.

"I'm going to ask you kindly to refrain from speaking of my people like that," Periwinkle stood up.

"Or What, little pretty princess?" He smirked at her, "I'll have you in my bed later tonight anyway."

Periwinkle approached and grabbed the man's arm, the air began cooling around her rapidly and ice formed up his arm.

"It would be wise to hold your tongue," Winnie removed her hand and returned to her seat, her face still void of emotion and she went back to her scroll without another word.

A few hours had passed and the airship landed in Vale, Winnie walked off the ship with her wagon and made a few quick glances to various people around her. She had made sure to hide the ears underneath her hair. She didn't wish to get attacked by any anti-Faunus rhetoric. Winnie looked at her map and then at the tower in the near distance.

"I guess that must be the school," Winnie started on her way towards the Academy with the wagon in hand.

Periwinkle passed by a group of students and approached to ask them something,

"Excuse me, is this the correct way to Beacon? I needed to deliver these textbooks because of an influx of students," She stated nervously.

"Yeah, just continue on this path and you'll make it there," The Wolf Faunus student replied, "Oh! I'm one of those students that needed them, I can show you the way."

"Oh! Alright, I'd appreciate that very much." Winnie replied with a smile.

Periwinkle continued after the student and set her map into her jacket pocket.

"My name is Gracie and there were so many students this year, Dad didn't expect this many to come to Beacon," Gracie started telling the other woman, "Are you a Faunus?"

"Oh..Uh yeah I am," Winnie replied, "I'm from Haven Academy."

"Oh, I heard about that place! Isn't it like really pretty there?" Gracie asked curiously, "In case you are wondering, my dad, is Professor Ozpin. I don't really know who my mom is..."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Winnie replied as the pair arrived at the library, "Thank you for showing me the way here Gracie. I hope you can find your place here."

"Thanks, Miss...uhh What was your name?" Gracie asked.

"Periwinkle, Periwinkle Ash," Winnie replied with a small nod and walked into the library.

"Ah! The Librarian from Haven, Professor Lionheart told me you would be arriving here a little while ago. You brought the books We needed?" The librarian of Beacon asked.

"Yes, I do," Periwinkle wheeled the cart in and set the textbooks onto the desk.

"Thank you, now I'm sure Professor Opzin will allow you to stay here for the night since it's a pretty far distance from Haven Academy," The Other librarian replied.

"Thank you, that is very kind of him to allow me to stay. It is a very nice building here," Winnie nodded and walked out of the library.

Winnie made her way towards the shops to get something to eat, after which she planned to stay inside an inn. She sent a quick text message to Professor Lionheart explaining why she would not be arriving that evening and took a sigh. This place was weirder than she thought.
