If one thing had persisted over the years it was man's ability to drink. You could find alcohol in any of the four hubs of the world. There were Bars in Luxerion and Yusnaan, shops in the Wildlands and a well-placed bribe could get you a fine bottle in the Dead Dunes. There was Pandemonium made wine and manmade Beer. Old stuff new stuff, what you wanted you got.

Why was it then, in a place so full of people being able to Drink that Noel wasn't able to get a sip?!

"Yes," Noel was used to zoning out a lot of Snows business dealing and deliveries. "let's move the Wine so some of the taverns can start buying and selling them."

This got his attention, Wine was one of the things that got people drunk right? At the end of the world they hardly had food or water, so alcoholic beverages were a mystery to him.

"Hey Snow," Snow turned to face him, He should make sure before he made any guesses. "What's Wine?"

"It's a drink for people," He was distracted by his patron duties "Why do you ask?"

"No Reason"

Noel sized up the Building standing before him. Night had fallen and it was started to get a bit busier in the streets. He was going to do it, he was going to get drunk.

"What can I get ya?" The bartender looked over the bar at him.

"Um," Noel hadn't thought that far ahead. He seemed to be doing that with a lot of things recently. "Um, Wine?"

"Was that a Question or an order?" Noel was taken back he didn't really know the difference between the different drinks. "Anyway, we only serve common man's drinks here."

He didn't know what that was either!

"He'll have apple Juice." Snow's voice Rang though the tavern. Noel stiffened. Had he been following him?

"The regular for you Snow?" The Bartender asked. Snow nodded. "I'll get that ready" Snow sat down and tried to ignore Noel's stares.

"I bet you thought I wasn't listening." By the look on his face Noel could almost guess that Snow was happy, or proud of himself at the very least.

"Why do you get to drink?" Noel mumbled as he kicked the bar.

"Because I'm not eighteen."

"I'm two hundred something."

"Physically?"

"Ugh," The Bartender had returned with the drinks. Noel had placed his head on table. "I just want to Drown my sorrows"

"Here," Snow pushed the small box of juice towards him "Drink your apple juice." He reached up and grabbed the box.

"Drowning your sorrowing isn't a good thing." Snow paused "It doesn't solve anything. Only puts it off for future you to deal with. Say in the Future what kind of stuff did you have to drink"

"Not much," Noel Replied, "Water mostly, sometimes we could find plants that retained water and drank that. It tasted different from normal water."

"Try this," Snow gestured towards the box. "I promise that it's better than the Nuri drinks the academy makes." Noel pocked the box and sipped some of it. That sip turned into a slurp.

"It's not bad."

"See!" Snow Slapped him on the back. If they could just keep this up, keep things from being completely bad, then they might just have a chance.
