He stormed frustrated, when someone made a promise "Always and Forever" you expected much more than this from them. His eyes were moist, red and puffy. This was all because of someone he never thought would hurt him. Rather it was intentional or not was still unclear, but the hurt felt real none the less. Peregrin Took a deep shuddering breath, and tried to be mad at him for it, but couldn't bring himself to do it. All he could feel was utter despair, and hurt. Of course he could live a life without Merry, but without him… he'd be miserable at best. He was all that he'd hoped to find, in every single way. He could still feel Merry in his heart, and every memory broke a little of his soul. He remembered as well as he could remember anything. "Pip, I know you too well. Now quit shutting me out, and tell me what's a matter!" Meriadoc BrandyBuck muttered. "I can't tell you, it will ruin everything…" Peregrin Took said furrowing his eyebrows obviously upset. A look of pure hurt passed through Merry's eyes, he quickly tried to hide it. Pippin saw it however, "Oh Merry…I can't see you upset like this! I…I-I am in love with you Merry…." He replied quickly and slurred. Merry turned away from him in shock, and looked back at him with fire in his eyes. "How long?" he breathed out. "What do you mean how long, Merry?" Pippin asked, confused. "How long have you had this "crush" Peregrin?" he spit out with venom. Pippin physically shuddered and quietly muttered back "5 years give or take…" then his eyes brimmed with salty tears. After a scolding from Merry, being put down, and flat out rejected within the next hour he had enough. "You need to start thinking Pippin…sometimes I think it would have been better if I had never met you at all with all the problems you call, Gandalf nailed it when he said fool of a Took". "If you think I'm going to stand by, and l-let you talk to me like this your sadly mistaken, maybe you'll get your wish and it will be like I never met you…and that day will come sooner than letter Merry!" with that he turned on his heel and quickly dashed off. He kept running, and he heard footsteps quickly behind him yelling his name "Pippin" but farther away he headed into the forceful light, the more it sounded like a dream. Maybe it was more than that, this blissful light, he wanted to stay in it forever, to bask in its warmth and glow. Maybe it wasn't a dream, maybe Pippin have finally plunged off the deep end, the cliff he had been dangling on for years, and he had finally been slung over.
