Standing outside the train station, holding an umbrella in your hand, you waited for me in the cold harsh rain. We planned to watch a movie that day but I was running late. Though you did not know the reason why I was late, you still waited patiently for me. And as I came out of the train station and started walking towards you, I started tearing and apologize, thinking you were mad at me for being late. But your actions proved otherwise.
Under the umbrella, you reached out your hand. With your voice as clam and soothing as the rain, you comfort me and gave me one of your rarest smile that melts my heart from time to time, wiping away my tears you asked,
" Sawada Tsunayoshi, why are you crying like a herbivore would normally do? You're an omnivore for heaven's sake!"
" Bu-but I was late and missed our whole date!"
I cried even more and you chuckled, something that you rarely do, I looked up to see what you found so funny, but you stared deep into my eyes as you cupped my face, dropping the umbrella ad getting ourselves wet.
" You're still worried about the date? I was more worried aout you than a single date we can have any other day! Countless of times, when you're late, I worry about you being kidnapped by those idiotic herbivores seeking for a death wish or you ending up in some kind of horrible accident!"
for the first time, I saw you, the HIBARI KYOYA, terrified beause of me, which I found it sweet because you never showed any of these feelings towards anyone and only showed them to me. As i was deep in my thoughts and stopped crying, you lean down and claim my lips, catching me by surprise, first kissing me gently, then with great passion in the rain with both of us not caring about us getting drenched.
" You do know that I'm capable of taking care of myself if I'm about to get kidnapped.. right? "
" But you would have depended on me like always, am I not right? "
you chuckled again as we kissed for the second time.
