P.S. I don't own any of this. Except her friend. He's me.

Emily was really excited. Her friend had asked her to sit in on a Criminology speaker with him. She figured it'd be a nice change of pace plus crime dramas were enough to make her want to go. They decided to hit up the the java city on their way. While in line her friend nudged her and nodded toward the guy in front of them. He was tall and broad shouldered. His head was shaved and he had darker skin. The two college kids giggled to themselves as they checked out the guy. He stepped to the side when his order was done. Emily went forward and placed her order but when she turned to wait by the counter she ran into the man that had been in front of them. His iced mocha sloshed onto Emily's shirt.

"Whoa! I'm so sorry baby girl!" the man said. Emily tried to use her words but they caught in her throat.

"Uh….hi." she took a big breath, "I'm really really really sorry! I should've been watching where I was going! I can get you a new one! I'm so sorry!" The man started laughing.

"Calm down sweetheart it was my bad." He started grabbing napkins and handing them to her, "Ya know you look like someone I know. What's your name?"

"I…I'm…I'm Emily." She stuttered as she dabbed at her chest. The man smiled and started taking things out of his jacket and putting them in his pant pockets. He turned and grabbed another napkin but wrote something on it and put it in his pocket.

"I know an Emily too but that's not who I was thinking." He took off his jacket revealing a nice shirt and tie, "But here take my jacket for now to cover up the stain until you can change. I put my number in the pocket so you can get back to me and return it." He smiled and gave a wink before turning and heading out of the room. She just stared after him. Emily's friend snapped his fingers in front of her face to draw her out of the trance.

"Emily we need to get going or we'll be late!" She came to and put the jacket on. They headed to Colden and the whole way there her friend gave her a smug grin. They got to the lecture hall and managed to snag two seats at the front.

"Soooooo I think he liiiiiked yoooooou." Her friend said.

"Oh shut up." Emily snapped as she turned a delicate shade of pink. She pulled the napkin out of the pocket and saw only a number. "He didn't even leave his name! Who does that?"

"Mister tall dark and handsome apparently." But their conversation was interrupted as the Criminology professor stood up and silenced the class.

"Silence everyone please! Now if you'll all please give a warm welcome to our special guest, all the way from the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI, Agent Derek Morgan!"

He gestured toward the side door as everyone broke into applause. The door opened and in stepped the same man who had been in front of them in line. Both Emily and her friend stopped mid-clap and their mouths fell open.
