4 years ago, everything seemed like it was going to turn out fine. One would think that in the wake of the Fourth Great Ninja War the great nations would learn to keep the peace. But in this shinobi world, that is not the case. Tensions have began to rise as numerous villages have sent secret missions to attack nearby lands. Moreover, the once great Alliance between the Leaf and Sand are a thing of the past, as Gaara has found new found guidance under the wing of the aging Onoki. Meanwhile the bond between the Leaf and Cloud has never been stronger. Though the Mist still remain neutral, there have been whispers of the founding of a new Seven Ninja Swordsmen, lead by former Taki member Suigetsu Hozuki. The other two members of Taki, Karin and Jugo, have joined together with the Leaf after the end of the last war. Orochimaru and Kabuto have once again returned to the shadows, yet this time promising to keep their research away from the villages, thanks to the final wishes of Sasuke Uchiha. The Uchiha clan died with Sasuke, those four years ago, as he fell in battle trying to break the Infinite Tsukuyomi that covered the world. His name was not the only notable casualty, Naruto Uzumaki was among them. The war was already over when Naruto made the decision to sacrifice himself, in his body he held the remnants of the Sage of Six Paths Power, and all nine of the Tailed beasts. In hopes of his power being used for war, and also in hope that his decision would bring peace, Naruto sealed himself inside the ten tails statue, which still stand as a monument in the ruins left in the wake of the war. But his sacrifice has turned out to be in vain, as now the war is close to erupting once again and the first blow is about to be dealt. Enter Jyoji Ichimonji, a new recruit to the Leaf Anbu Black Ops, and the young man who will unwillingly start the Fifth Great Ninja War.
