Arithmetic

Summary: Decided to do a total fluff Loki/Tony Stark oneshot :3

Disclaimer: Characters belong to Marvel, and song belongs to Brooke Fraser.

I've been staring at the sky tonight

Marvelling and passing time

Loki stood out on the balcony of Stark Tower, admiring the stars. There was a small breeze passing through, making him shiver.

Wondering what to do with daylight

Until I can make you mine

He heard the door open and close behind him, causing him to lose attention on the night sky.

He smiled at the sight of Tony Stark, carrying two glasses and a bottle of Jack.

You are the one I want, you are the one I want

Tony sat one of the glasses in front of Loki, and then the other in front of him. He poured a little whiskey in both glasses and raised his up to toast.

Loki didn't toast back, but grinned and turned his attention back to the stars.

I've been thinking of changing my mind

It never stays the same for long

But of all the things I know for sure

You're the only certain one

He saw Tony smile and stare at him through his peripherals, sitting his glass down and leaning on the banister.

You are the one I want, you are the one I want

Loki traced the stars in his mind; before he could finish tracing, a hand came across his cheek and turned his head back to Tony.

I've been counting up all my wrongs

One sorry for each star

See I'd apologize my way to you

If the heavens stretched that far

Tony stroked Loki's cheek softly as he looked into Loki's eyes. The shiver ran down Loki's spine again, making Tony smile.

You are the one I want, you are the one I want

He removed his red leather jacket and flung it across Loki's shoulders. Loki immediately wrapped it all the way around his torso.

I won't find what I am looking for

If I only "see" by keeping score

'Cos I know now you are so much more than arithmetic

"Why don't we go inside?" Tony asked, knowing Loki had been outside in the cold for hours. Loki grabbed his glass; he hadn't taken a drink of it at all yet.

'Cos if I add, if I subtract

If I give it all, try to take some back

I've forgotten the freedom that comes from the fact

That you are the sum

So you are the one

I want

Walking back into Stark Tower made Loki's heart skip a beat.

On the floor was a blanket with dinner and lit candles placed upon it. Tony walked past Loki, turning around and smiling at him.

When the years are showing on my face

And my strongest days are gone

When my heart and flesh depart this place

From a life that sung your song

Tony took Loki's hand and led him to the floor and they sat down. Loki took off the jacket and tried to hand it back to Tony, but Tony didn't notice; he was too busy staring at Loki and smiling.

You'll still be the one I want

A/N: There's a totally fluffy story :3 The rest of my oneshots are fluffy but usually there's something else in the mix. This one was total fluff and I love it :D
