Why Annie Thinks A Lot Of Wierd Stuff Happens To Her
Jack was getting tired of Annie already. It hadn't been very long, and she
was already as crazy as Fi with all of this bizarre nonsense. Just a
while ago she claimed that there was a fire in her room, when there
wasn't. So what if Molly had seen it, too. That just means that
Annie's weirdness was rubbing off or something. Or maybe she was just
talking in her sleep, and Annie was the only one who saw the fire.
As Jack was thinking this, Annie walked past him and off of the bus. They
had stopped in Cheyenne where his mom's next concert was supposed to be.
Jack didn't leave the bus because he had homework. However, he decided
he wanted to do a little snooping since no one was on the bus at the
moment. He crept over to Annie's room on the tour bus and quickly opened
the door. There, conveniently placed on the desk, was a book marked
"private". "I didn't know she kept a diary," thought Jack to himself.
He picked up the book, finding it much lighter than expected. He opened
it up to find that it was not a book, but a box made to look like a book.
And inside of it was a bag of mushrooms. "Oh my god," said Jack out loud, as he
dropped the book back onto the desk in surprise. "I don't believe it. Well,
actually, I do." He stuffed a few of the mushrooms into his pocket and left
the room never to mention it again.
