Pink Squashes

"I don't think this is a good idea guys…"

Kyuhyun glanced nervously between the open silver case and the man sleeping on the bed in front of him. Beside him, Donghae and Kibum ignored his protest and continued setting up equipment.

"Hyung…"

Kibum placed a final touch then straightened to face Kyuhyun. Han Geng entered from a door behind him.

"Kyuhyun, what's so bad about this idea?" Kibum asked exasperatedly.

"EVERYTHING! Why would you invade Sungmin's dreams just to find out if he has a crush on Sunny?"

Donghae came to stand beside Kyuhyun and flung an arm around his shoulder.

"Because, Kyu, he never answers us and they're both so unbearably cutesy and this would be fun!" He said gleefully.

"This would also be a good time to discover why he likes pink so much."

"Good point, Kibum."

Kyuhyun sighed. They were impossible; he'd never be able to convince them otherwise. Han Geng came towards them with a vial of some clear liquid.

"If you guys are ready…?"

Donghae nodded and dragged the other two men to the chairs arranged at the end of the bed. Han Geng inserted the needles into their arms and settled into a chair of his own. Kibum gave a small nod and Han Geng pushed the button in the silver case. In seconds, they were asleep.

"Whoa."

Donghae stood gaping at the gigantic pink city they had landed in. Kibum and Han Geng checked their equipment as Kyuhyun joined the older man on the pink painted sidewalk.

"It's so… pink."

The city seemed to be a strange mix of past, present and future. Huge pink skyscrapers rose into the pink sky and fluffy light pink clouds. On the pink streets, pink cars drove alongside pink horse-drawn carriages. Even the horses were pink. The people on the street had varying shades of pink hair and clothes and overhead, pink birds flew.

"Sungmin has really weird dreams."

"I told you this was a bad idea…"

The four men set off down the street gaping at everything they saw. None of the projections seemed to notice them yet despite their obviously non-pink appearance.

"Okay so… I think what we're looking for would be at the center of this whole thing." Donghae said.

"Oh geez… Kill me now." Kyuhyun groaned.

After walking several blocks, they finally found the center of the city. It must have been the biggest, tallest, pinkest building in the entirety of Sungmin's dream world.

"It's probably on the top floor." Kibum said.

"Yep."

They entered the building, a mall (of course), and took the elevator straight to the top floor. As soon as the doors opened, however, a horde of pink military squashes came barreling towards them. Donghae screamed and began sprinting down the corridor.

"Sungmin has evil squash subconscious defenders?" Kibum exclaimed.

"This wasn't the plan at all!" Han Geng yelled.

They turned a corner and found themselves at a dead end. The evil squash army was closing in on them.

"I TOLD you this was a bad idea…"

Donghae jerked awake in his chair, squashes swimming at the edge of his vision. Kibum and Han Geng were already up and clearing the room of any evidence that they they had been there at all while Kyuhyun was already nowhere to be seen. He sighed. Well, he now knew one thing. He wasn't going near pink or squashes anytime soon.
