Prologue
The music that played flowed through my family's Victorian house surrounded by the forests of Forks. It was melody that mother used to play when I was alive. Though most of my memories before I became this have faded, some have stayed with me as I lived this lonely existence. Now, you must think that I wish for some pity, some sympathy. But I don't. I am like my biological father, former sheriff of Huston, Texas Charles Swan, emotionless and liked to be left alone.
I have lived since 1841 and though it is 2009 I am still on this earth. I have seen many things that one should never see for they, if weren't strong enough, would die of the pain that goes with events. I am forever in debt for those who have helped me. They showed me that there was a life of love, of freedom outside of war, death and hatred.
Though am I content with myself, I wish for someone. Yes I, the emotionless Isabella Marie Swan, wish to show someone myself. Who I am.
