Can you imagine if 4kids got hold of the anime rights for inuyasha? They will butcher the shit out of it.
Inuyasha takes place in feudal America, Washington DC. No blood and gore from slicing demons. Inuyasha, voiced by Dan green (name will be the same, like Yugi) and Kagome's (Bianca Stallings) relationship, platonic till the end. Bianca has no idea what she's doing all the time because she is a woman.
Lord Sesshomaru (Lord Salvatore) voiced by Eric Stuart, spews cringeworthy outdated one liners to be kid friendly (you know they're going to do that). Once more making kids in america think it's Brock all over again, as if Kaiba wasn't enough. In fact everyone in the show spews outdated one liners then and again (even freaking kikyo. But we'll get to her later). But not as much as Lord Salvatore. 'What a feudalistic dummy' and "Shut up, James (English Jaken)" are Lord Salvatore's favorite quotes.
Bianca doesn't abuse her 'sit' powers because that's just mean and 4kids doesn't promote meanness.
Whenever Naraku (Naraku) voiced by Darren Dunstan comes up, it plays cliché villain/ cliché evil castle music. Maybe some dubstep as the show progresses. Ooooooo, Inuyasha booooyyy!
Miroku (Martin) voiced by Ted Lewis is just a normal British pastor (not monk) being a victim to Sango's (Susan) tyranny as this bully hurls insults and slaps him on the face for no apparent reason. Every boy in America watching this show hates Susan because she's bitchy, emotional and treats Martin like crap for existing. When they grow up, they brand Susan as a SJW while they MGTOW.
Koga (Krump or Biff) becomes a straight up villainous werewolf who forces Bianca to marry him. Inuyasha must stop him because of the power of friendship that trumps lust.
Kikyo (Debbie) is a nun from the underworld becomes bitch number two whom all the American viewers hate. Relationship with Inuyasha also platonic.
The song from episode one to the end is the same rap. Something, something 'adventure'. Something, something 'seizing the day'. Something, something 'friendship'. Sung by (insert name of rapper...sorry I'm not american). It's Inununununuyashaaaaaaaaa!
They're probably not going to touch Shippo (Amy) who is voiced by Veronica Taylor and Kirara (Katniss).
And I haven't even touched on the myriad graphics that will be edited into the show. Which I am not even going to attempt at this point.
I could see it now...some American Youtuber who finally saw the Original Japanese version of Inuyasha, makes an eight part series on this.
