The Wish
Notes: Hey everyone! Okay, right now, you're probably groaning, saying, "Why in the world is
she starting yet ANOTHER fic?!?!" Well, I wrote this a while ago, and kinda forgot about it.
^_^ Anyhoo, this is all that I have so far, I'm open to all suggestions, however, I'm not gonna
have Minako turn into Sailor Venus or anything like that. This story will have no bad guys, it's
just meant for some mushy romantic fun! ^_^ Gimme your ideas! Thanks! ^_^
Prologue
~Tokyo~
Minako yawned as she stretched across her bed. Opening her eyes just a crack, she glanced at
her clock. "Seven forty-five." she read aloud, sleepily. She turned over and shut her eyes,
snuggling into her pillow. That was when the realization hit her. "SEVEN FORTY-FIVE?!?!?!"
she screamed, jumping out of bed. "School starts at eight!!!!" she yelled as she ran to the
bathroom.
Ten minutes later, Minako dashed out the door and down the street. Like Usagi, she was a
record breaker at getting ready for school in the morning.
~Quatre's Mansion~
Quatre yawned as he made his way down the long set of stairs in his mansion. He hadn't been
assigned any missions so he had the whole day to himself.
He walked into the sitting room and glanced at the clock. "Seven forty." he said to himself. He
decided to go to the kitchen and fix a cup of coffee. He walked back into the sitting room at
7:45, coffee and newspaper in hand. After about ten minutes, he sat back down and sighed.
~Tokyo~
Minako checked her watch as she ran. Three minutes left. There was no way that she would
make it.
~Quatre~
Quatre stood up and walked over to the window. Looking outside, he watched all the other kids
his age running like mad to get to school on time. He slightly wished that he could have a
normal childhood. Unfortunately, that was not possible.
~Minako~
"Seven fifty-nine." Minako said sadly, looking at her watch. She slowed to a walk. It would be
impossible to make it on time. She had one minute left and she was a ten minute run away. She
sighed as she realized her fate. Detention again. Yet another day taken from her. All she
wanted was sometime for herself.
~Quatre~
Quatre sighed as he thought more of his lost childhood. He was forced to grow up way too fast.
He sat back down as his grandfather clock began to chime for eight o'clock.
~Both Dimensions~
DING
"Why couldn't it have been someone else?" Quatre asked himself.
DING
"This stress is killing me!" Minako said.
DING
"I enjoy what I do, but sometimes, I just want to be a kid."
DING
"I need a break, I can't keep going like this."
DING
"If only I had one day..."
DING
"I just need one day..."
DING
"I wish I could just have one day just for myself!" Quatre and Minako both said at once.
DING
~Quatre~
There was a bright flash of light. It covered the whole room. "What in the world?!?!" Quatre
shouted.
~Minako~
White light surrounded Minako's body. "What's going on here?!?!" she yelled.
Once the light disappeared, Quatre an Minako were gone. Their had been granted.
