I have a little writer's block so I wrote this little drabble poem. I hope to have my next one-shot up this weekend before I leave on vacation. This is an 'I Am' poem. I really like this style for some reason. Anyway, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! (If I did, do you think I would be writing fanficition?)
I AM YAMI YUGI
I am unsure and quiet
I wonder how I fell in love with her
I hear her gentle voice, telling me everything will be answered in time
I see the purity shining ever so brightly in her
I want to tell her how I feel
I am unsure and quiet
I pretend for just an instant, that I am not a creature of the darkness, that I am of her world
I feel the softness of her skin and wonder if her lips are just as soft
I touch my puzzle, wishing that I could be with her for real
I worry that she will be harmed and that I will be unable to save her
I cry when I let the darkness consume me and she still remains by myside
I am unsure and quiet
I understand that one day, I will have to leave her to return to my time
I say that everything will be okay in the end, but I know that it may not
I dream that I can stay here with her forever
I try to protect her
I hope that one day, I can tell her the truth
I am unsure and quiet
