Chase sighed as he parked his cruiser outide the gated lot. This hurt him so much on the inside but... With a sigh, he grabbed the bouquet from the back of the cruiser, hopping down and carrying the flowers through the gate. Many headstones protruded from the ground, each inscribed with name, date, etc... Chase finally stopped in front of the grave he was searching for, laying the flowers down and sitting back, silent for a moment before letting out a sigh.
"Hey... Mom. I... I know it's been a while since I last visited. It's just, we've been even busier these days then we have in the past. First there was this pup named Sweetie who we had to stop from taking over the kingdom of Barkingburg, then Ryder started the Sea Patrol, so when we're not saving the humans around town, we're saving them around the beach. And of course Mayor Humdinger's been causing trouble as usual." He chuckled a little. "Oh! You remember Skye right, she was with me when..." He trailed off, choking on his words a bit. "A-anyway, there's going to be a big party at Jake's next week, and I think I'm finally going to tell her my feelings there. Doesn't that sound great mom?" There was silence, save for the gently blowing wind as Chase stared at the grave. He sighed. "I-I'm sorry, I... I miss you so much mom. Why did you have to leave so soon, I..." He sniffed, wiping his eyes. "I love you mom, I hope you know that. Even if I never showed it much, I..." He choked. "I love you mom." He sat there for the next several hours in silence.
